Atlanta post-punk group the Coathangers have spent the past six years churning out playfully evil post-punk full of wiry riffs and raspy shouts, as exhibited on last year's very solid Suicide Squeeze release Larceny and Old Lace. Now the label is releasing a new single for the group as they prepare for a U.S. tour with Trail of Dead in November. "Merry Go Round" is from said 7-inch, a split with Nashville garage punk band Heavy Cream, complete with cover art by Thermals drummer Westin Glass.
