The last solo collection that Here We Go Magic bandleader Luke Temple released was 2011's resurrected collection of old material, Don't Act Like You Don't Care. On October 15, Secretly Canadian will release Good Mood Fool, a new solo LP from Temple that bears a name almost too similar to the Arby's slogan. While Temple's main act has perfected their distant, clinical brand of spacey indie rock, "Florida" takes on a warmer, soulful guise, sounding like something that would come from (coincidentally) Floridian homebrew-soul musician Levek. The song's lyrics are a personal matter for Temple; they draw from a true story of a friend of Luke's who developed a cocaine addiction after her father passed away.
