Last year, Croydon producer Deft released an EP for Project: Mooncircle, Voight Kampff, that merged house's persistent thump with rhythmic footwork motifs and sparkling tonal runs. "Emeralds", taken from his latest release, the Always Greener EP, carries in that style, with a clipped vocal sample and an eternally blooming structure. The EP's out today via WotNot.
