UK producer and Hyperdub affiliate Ikonika just recently released a new single, "Beach Mode (Keep It Simple)", featuring Ontario singer Jessy Lanza on vocals-- and as it turns out, that was just the tip of the iceberg in terms of Lanza's alignment with the ever-shifting UK dance label. On September 10, Hyperdub releases Lanza's debut LP, Pull My Hair Back, which was co-produced and co-written by Junior Boys' Jeremy Greenspan. This moody first single from the LP is accompanied by a video that features someone named "Jed the dancing guy", apparently shot in the Canadian town of Hamilton. Fun!
