Taken from Machine Woman’s upcoming release, WhenLobster Comes home

Last year, Machine Woman, aka the Berlin-based producer Anastasia Vtorova, made a techno track about being turned away from one of the city’s clubs ("Friday Night”). Now, on her latest track, the experimental techno producer turns her sights again to Berlin’s nightlife, this time detailing a much more positive clubbing experience.

From the opening second of “Camile From OHM Makes Me Feel Loved,” the song demonstrates the immediate, propulsive side of Vtorova’s production skills. She uses crunchy, rapid kick drums that land with enough force to send someone tumbling backwards. A twisted voice adds to the high-energy atmosphere, repeating the phrase “push it” in woodpecker-like trills. She’s not just interested in raw strength, though, but also reaching euphoria via deep, echoing vocal snippets and angelic synth pads. These elements radiate elation, and the song, which details the adoration you can only feel in a club, is bound to leave the dancefloor glowing.
