On this edit of their latest epic journey (the full version is set to be 17 minutes long), Johnny Jewel, Ruth Radelet, and the gang take us on a dusty, hypnotic Italo exploration that's easy to get lost in. The metronomic beat in "Looking For Love" ticks like an internal clock, pounding warmth towards the song's glacial outer limits. Radelet's mantra-like vocal ("I'm still looking for love") is incessantly obsessed, chased by a weaving, blocky synth pattern. The result feels like a delicate balancing act between intense romance and dangerous compulsion.
