You've heard "fugitive air", and now here's "belle glade missionaries", the latest single from of Montreal's latest LP, lousy with sylvanbriar. It's out October 8 via Polyvinyl; as previously reported, Kevin Barnes and the band recorded the album with engineer Drew Vandenberg (Deerhunter, Toro Y Moi) on a 24-track tape machine in a home studio. "belle glade missionaries" continues in the band's latest, 1960s-leaning look, with jangly guitars and a swaggering vocal line.
