Edinburgh-based singer/songwriter Dan Willson is the mastermind behind Withered Hand, and his sophomore LP, New Gods, is out in February via Slumberland and Fortuna POP! Obviously, if you're going to name your song "Black Tambourine", you better have a good reason to back it up, and Wilson does: for this jangler, he recruited the legendary indie-pop outfit's Pam Berry, as well as the Vaselines' Eugene Kelly, to pitch in. New Gods will also feature appearances from members of Belle and Sebastian, Frightened Rabbit, and King Creosote.
