While he has only one solo twelve to his credit under his U-202 alias, L.I.E.S. labelhead Ron Morelli’s noisy aesthetic nevertheless infuses every single that sees release on that label. So it’s not all that surprising to see Morelli’s first proper album, Spit (out November 11) appear via Dominick Fernow’s (Prurient, Vatican Shadow, Cold Cave) hallowed Hospital Productions imprint. The first single, "Crack Microbes", feels as lo-fi as you might expect, as Morelli serves up a nerve-wracking cha-cha pattern that's slowly eaten away by a swelling puddle of acid.
