Really neat track. Not too short nor too long compared to the other tracks on this album. The sound is incredibly alternative and experimental (I think he made this on an iPhone?), very crunchy and has that sort of staticy bite with the drums and Steve Lacy does his usual thing with riffs. But I find this song heavily relatable with the stage of life I’m in. With this track being all about changing and not sticking with the same group of people, changing into the new you and people not liking it or just not getting along with old friends. That’s something I don’t really give to other songs. But this song has its own special place in my reviews. Especially with me just recently having some fall outs with people, I’ve just recently revisited this track and it’s as amazing as I remember first listening to it. A personal favorite from Steve Lacy. And my favorite track off of his Lo Fis project.
