Love this record

It’s crazy because I first hated ts when I first heard it. I love how they blend blues, pop, and experimental sht. It blends in way that isn’t really cohesive, but it works. Nico’s voice adds a layer of sunshine to this album this is very much needed. Heroin, Venus in Furs are highlights for me. I love the weirdness of Venus in Furs and the lyricism. It taps into a taboo topic and makes it a creative masterpiece. I love the change in tempo with Heroin such a good song. The songs that Nico are on are just heavenly to listen to. So many catchy songs for a criminally underrated album. It’s gotten traction now, but it was slept on during the time. I also love how Andy Warhol also stepped in and produced this record. Goes to show his love for art and such. I would say that European son does throw me off. It’s not really a song just noise assembled together. Kinda reminiscent of Revolution 9 off the white album.
