Tyla is such a fun debut. I went in knowing “Water,” but the album showed me there’s so much more to Tyla than her biggest hit. I love how effortlessly she blends Amapiano, R&B, Afrobeats, and pop while keeping everything smooth and catchy. “Truth or Dare,” “Art,” “Jump,” and “Water” are definitely highlights for me.

Tyla has such a distinct sound and effortless confidence, and this album feels like a really strong introduction to her as an artist. It’s short, addictive, and easy to replay.
