Genuinely one of the most appaling pieces of music to ever go mainstream. This song is just so boring, generic, and possesses no soul whatsoever. I feels as if Baby is doing the bare minimum to make industry music he knows mainstream audiences will eat up. I mean come on I was there for Drip Harder, I was there for Perfect Timing, I was There for 2 the Hard Way, etc. Genuinely wtf is this shit? Compared to his early work this is just garage. The hook is just so lazy it’s bouncy but just so fucking boring. All throughout the song it’s just generic lines he knows the mainstream won’t even bat an eye to and consume it nonetheless. And he has the audacity to say, “this beat came from Pharrell.” My nga this is probably the most lazy n boring Pharrell beat to ever be produced get up off your knees with that sht folk. Just a boring track for a boring audience. All these mainstream rappers are conforming to industry standards which makes their music basic and predictable. It makes it even worse where ngs will use this song in a post and proceed to have the worst fit known to man. Just stop…
