Back in 2004, Conor Oberst of Bright Eyes launched his Team Love imprint with a debut record from the Omaha, Nebraska twee pop band Tilly and the Wall. Fans of that group will be pleased to learn that guitarist/vocalist Derek Pressnall has since formed a new band, Icky Blossoms, focused on more nuanced and electronics-oriented dance pop. The trio, which also includes singer Sarah Bohling and guitarist Nik Fackler, have a self-titled debut out July 17 via Saddle Creek, produced by TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek.
