i really like this song and i feel a relate to it on a certain level cause i often find myself thinking that maybe if i had a boyfriend to tell me all these nice things about myself and uplift me and love me i wouldn’t feel so insecure and it would start a chain reaction kind of and make me also my myself but she’s saying that, it doesn’t really work that way and that you have to kind of work that out on your own because no one can make you love yourself maybe having that kind of support would help a little but still all the work has to come from you and maybe im wrong about what olivia rodrigo was trying to say with this and and im spewing nonsense but idk that’s just what i think. but overall a very well put song and she just puts all her emotion into it especially the live version its makes me cry everytime
