Tokyo-based producer Sapphire Slows has been making her own slightly hazy electronic music for a while now; on November 5, Not Not Fun will release her new LP, Allegoria (Big Love will release it in Japan). "Rules" is a cut from that album, and it takes a slightly darker turn than what we're used to from Sapphire Slows, with a pulsing, submerged bass line and a closely orbiting high-pitched tone hovering over SS' distant vocal delivery.
