UK producer Ikonika hasn't put out a proper full-length since 2010's Hyperdub-released Contact, Love, Want, Have; last year, she put out a highly engaging EP in the form of I Make Lists. On July 29, Ikonika returns with a new album for Hyperdub, Aerotropolis, the title of which the shape-shifting bass fiend tells FACT refers to "getting high and [becoming] distant. Finding escape routes and fantasying about moving to the offshore colonies." That's deep-- and so is this house-y new single from the LP, featuring contributions from Jessy Lanza, which sees release on its own on July 8.
