When I reported on last November's moving Occupy Sandy benefit concert at Brooklyn's St. Ann's & the Holy Trinity Church, I noted that curmudgeonly singer/songwriter Cass McCombs performed a new song that featured the lyric, "What's it like to shit in space?" Turns out that song is called "Morning Star", and now a studio version has emerged, with an accompanying Patrick O'Dell-directed video filled with grainy skateboarding footage. Hopefully, this contemplative new cut is a precursor to a proper follow-up to 2011's excellent double-header, WIT'S END and Humor Risk. (via The Skateboard Mag)
