The latest signing to Dead Oceans is Night Beds, the project of Nashville-via-Colorado-Springs 23-year-old singer/songwriter Winston Yellen. Tomorrow, the label will release a 7" from Yellen, Even If We Try, which features this title track and "You Were Afraid", the first song that he wrote when he was 18. A press release notes that there's an album on the way from Night Beds, too.
