"Eras", the first single from Juana Molina's sixth LP Wed 21 (out October 28 via Crammed Discs), was a nervy, percussive ball of steely guitar work and sleek grooves. On "Sin Guia No," Molina picks up right where she left off with that song, constructing a serpentine harmony from lazy, dying horns, off-key guitar flicks, a tight phalanx of skittering hi-hats and kick drums, and her breathy vocals. It's a twisting, little live wire of a song, bubbling with uneven surges of energy from start to finish that take's the listener's attention hostage and runs off into the woods.
