Nearly four years ago, California producer Teebs released one hell of a debut with the florid, beautifully decaying Ardour; since then, he's whetted our appetites with 2011's odds-and-ends comp Collections 01, but otherwise he's stayed largely silent. That'll change on April 8, when Flying Lotus' Brainfeeder label releases Teebs' new album, E S T A R A, which will feature contributions from Prefuse 73 and Jonti, among others. Album cut "View Point" finds Teebs in a more low-key mindset, tacking on a gorgeous coda that sounds as if it blooms in reverse.
