The Melbourne band's glittery new single begins with light and shimmery guitar, as sugary, complimentary vocals from lead singers Phoebe Baker and Lou James enter the mix. The result is a breezy, pleasant, and sweet. "I wish it wasn't just the night time," the pair sing, the sort of lazy, relaxed line that embodies the song's rhythm. Initially, they sound cheerful, but when they sing, "I'm never gonna light you", it's clear that there's bite to their words, too.
