Stockholm four-piece Holograms work together in a factory and barely have two kroner to rub together, professing to playing with a set of "decrepit instruments." So when Anton Spetzer rhapsodises about "the one who makes you see what life could be!" on "Chasing My Mind", the lead track from their self-titled debut LP out July 10 via Captured Tracks, you know the object of his intentions must be pretty exotic. Especially when you factor in the way the delicious ravey synths tremble around the band's garage chomp and clatter like the bandy legs of an adolescent boy.
