The transition for this track gives this grand entrance for what’s about to come. Just such an amazing track that is iconic. Ringo Starr really shines on his performance. I hate when people claim that he can’t sing or has not musical ability…literally listen to Boys off the Please Please Me album or any other ringo track and tell me that man can’t sing. I love when the band joins in to sing along with Ringo. It’s such an endearing song that radiates love throughout the track. “I get by with a little help from my friends,” such a true line. Without people in our life it’s harder for us to get through rough patches. The minimalist approach to the insteumentation works in their favor. The basic drum pattern playing im the foreground and piano add a minimalist touch to let the vocals shine. It is occasionally occupied by a guitar or cool little bass line, which works in my opinion. It is a really good song that I come back to quite often.
