Seattle-based producer Jeff McIlwain has been turning out a variety of sounds for over a decade now as Lusine. His moniker translates to "moon" in Armenian, and a listen "Another Tomorrow", a cut from The Waiting Room, his forthcoming third LP proper for Ghostly and follow-up to 2009's A Certain Distance, more than affirms why he would produce under such a nocturnally evocative namesake. The track shimmys and bounces to a busy buildup, as vocalist and frequent collaborator Caitlin Sherman sings through aqueous processing, sounding close to robotic but still retaining a human warmth. The Waiting Room is out February 18 via Ghostly.
