Presumably, Bi's name refers to the band being a cross-coastal concern, a collaboration between the NYC-based Eric Copeland (Black Dice) and L.A.'s Jimi Hey (All Night Radio). The pair's debut 7", "Surf'n'Turf" b/w "Tuf Jak", is out April 17 on Mexican Summer. As you probably figured out already, the warped "Tuf Jak" is the B-side.
