Dutch baroque pop artist Jacco Gardner is a do-it-all composer/performer who enjoys, above all, traipsing around on the other side of the looking glass. Much like his debut LP, this year's Cabinet Of Curiosities, the title track from his new 7" (out September 24 on Trouble in Mind) stuffs the pipe with swirling European 1960s psych. The song is a timely, analog threnody with guitars and mellotrons wisping right alongside that hint of cold happening outside for some folks lately.
