Following 2010's experimental, spry Handful of Stars, and fresh off collaborating with Alcest's Neige in the Alcest-like Old Silver Key, Ukrainian black metal group Drudkh return to their older, more straightforward form with Eternal Turn of the Wheel, a five-song collection focused on the four seasons. The band is fronted by Roman Saenko (ex-Hate Forest), seen by some as the Eastern European Varg Vikernes (Burzum) because of allegedly extreme political views (views he denies). The band refuse to do interviews or to discuss the meaning of their songs, but we'll be unpacking that in a review soon. For now, here's "Farewell to Autumn's Sorrowful Birds".
