Singer/producer Cooly G is wasting no time in 2014: on her three-song EP Hold Me, out later this month, she moves away from the R&B-infused sounds on 2012’s Playin’ Me towards dancier fare. A collaboration with labelmate DVA, who put out his self-proclaimed “WTF” EP Mad Hatter on the label this past September, “Oi Dirty” is reinforced like concrete, with clangs of clashing steel and the crack of marbles spilled on the floor. The usually emotive Cooly G wears her newfound tough front well, sneering, "Yeah, dirty" as Scratcha trawls the beat through the detritus around her.
