The first single from Grecian dream-pop duo Keep Shelly in Athens' debut LP, At Home (out September 17 via Cascine) sets simple rhythms over downcast beats and synths that eventually harmonize into one ambient, ultra-lush bedroom serenade. “Recollection” is a rich sonic palette that uses only a few textures: beneath vocalist Sarah P’s effortlessly supple ruminations, the song is lucid disco as melodies waft and drag over ambrosial arrangements. The result is a soundscape that feels both focused and adrift, a vaguely soothing Balearic grower that’s worthy of its title.
