Julio Bashmore's Broadwalk label continues its unassailable streak with a new one from Bashmore himself, in collaboration with bass-leaning Bristol guy Kowton. "Mirror Song" is a mix of the tough and the serene-- fitting, considering the parties involved-- and the accompanying video embraces the tension inherent, with old-timey funhouse footage that adds to the track's sense of scaled-up headiness. The Mirror Song EP is out on May 27; it also features a solo cut from Kowton, "And What?", as well as a "Techno Remix" of "Mirror Song".
