Fabric's Houndstooth label has been on quite a run this year: back in July, they released a solid EP from techno mainstay Paul Woolford's jungle-nostalgic Special Request project, Hardc**ore (they're also releasing that project's debut LP, Soul Music, on October 7 on vinyl and October 21 in 2CD and digital formats), and last month they followed up Dylan Richards' House of Black Lanterns LP from earlier this year with a new EP for his project, You, Me, Metropolis. Today, they release a new 12" EP from Föglö-based producer Call Super, Black Octagons (the vinyl's out next week, September 16); the title track is seven minutes of persistent, clattering techno with plenty of attack-and-release depth.
