He gets an ego boost from parading around, acting brand new, and being chauffeured by a self-driving car. With a taunting, triumphant hook—“Them bitches laughed at me but they like me now/Blue face hunduns, how you like me now?”—Keef is taking aim at his doubters. His guttural flow, accented by ad-libs, makes this collection of boasts particularly pointed. While Keef performs his part well on “How You Like Me Now,” it’s 808 Mafia that dazzle with a rush of cloudy synths and keyboard strobes. As the beat swells to a heady brew, Keef keeps applying pressure, flashing his goods at every turn. His raps capture the simple joys of a flex. For Chief Keef, having things is more fun when the onlookers are jealous.
