Alan Watts is not one person; it's a Brooklyn band named for the philosopher. The industrial trio-- made up of Heaven's Gate's Mike Sheffield and Pat Stankard, and former Impose editor Jeremy Krinsley-- have a new single due out soon on God Mode. "Twin City" is the B-side to "Executioner", and it features a persistent thumping bassline and series of echoing darkwave-hued synths. The same set of "ahh" vocals repeat for the majority of the song, though they're presented with a variety of textures-- sometimes they're obscured by fuzz and feedback, sometimes they're soft and unadorned.
