Jon Hopkins' "Open Eye Signal" is a surging eight-minute tower of a tune from the London producer; California beatmaker Nosaj Thing's take on the tune is drastically different, then, as he chops the running time in half and applies his signature wooze to the proceedings, ending up with something that's as much Nosaj as it is Hopkins. The remix will be included on a forthcoming 12", along with contributions from Luke Abbott, Happa, and Lord of the Isles. Hopkins' new album, Immunity, is scheduled to come out June 4 in North America (June 3 everywhere else) via Domino.
