NYC-based producer Morgan Geist is something of a chameleon, taste-wise: in 2004, he compiled the excellent Italo collection Unclassics, and he released a solo LP, Double Night Time, under his own name back in 2008. Last year, Geist adopted the Storm Queen alias to put out a delectable slice of shadowy dance music, "Look Right Through"; "It Goes On" is the latest single to come from Storm Queen, and it's available now via Environ. The tune caught a few of our ears when it made an appearance in Toronto house duo Art Department's outstanding BBC Essential Mix from earlier this year; if you found yourself disappointed by the latest Hercules and Love Affair LP, "It Goes On" might very well be candy for your ears.
