“Lighthouse”, Brighton-based duo IYES' first demo, was a stark track born out of the darkness and isolation of a long, late night out, but “Glow” is something much brighter and thrilling. Rave synths and percussion crash repeatedly, so there is no empty space here, as each second is consumed with new sounds and layers that build to and just as quickly jump off a peak. It's a song about falling in love, the heady feeling of something new, and how those feelings manifest themselves. Like the song, they usually come fast, surprising with their force.
