"Nothing Less", the title track from NYC duo No Regular Play's new EP, opens with a few intersecting horn lines that may remind some of, say, an advertisement for hard liquor; whether that's a negative or positive association, it's worth sticking it out regardless, as "Nothing Less" opens into an exquisite seven-minute jam of wobbly synths and, as is typical for Wolf + Lamb associates such as NRP, the slightest hint of aural romance.
