A few months ago, we posted the "extended 12" version" of former Emeralds member Mark McGuire's "The Instinct", from a then-forthcoming release on Real Estate/Ducktails member Matt Mondanile's New Images label, as well as an in-the-works LP titled The Journey Towards Being. No word on the status of that LP (or if that New Images release ever came out, for that matter), but here's another shimmering, expansive tune from McGuire, "In Search of the Miraculous", from another new LP, Along the Way, which is scheduled for release this summer on Japanese label Inpartment Inc.
