"Reach for Me", their first single for the label, luxuriates in its mid-tempo pulse, allowing a sticky blanket of humidity to seep into its furthest corners. The track's defined by this compositional elbow room—it provides a through-line connecting the rubbery throb of its lower-end to the warm, emotive vocals of Alex Mills. Mills stretches toward the sky on the chorus, echoing the track's thematic material and injecting it with a been-there-before conviction via a performance that remains understated even when flashing the extent of her powers.
