Shadowlust is a collaboration between Chicago producer Marquis Cooper, who records as Svengalisghost, and New York musician Lili Schulder, who typically works under her inscrutably titled 51717 alias. The pair just released their debut LP, Trust in Pain, on Ron Morelli's always-fascinating L.I.E.S. label; "Devotion" should give you an idea of the eerie, glowing music these two make, coupled with a suitably abstract video by visual artist Luke Wyatt (who also records off-center electronic music, occasionally for L.I.E.S., as Torn Hawk).
