Here's "Higher Ground", a new one from the self-titled debut EP on the way from Hudson Mohawke and Lunice's TNGHT project. This supercharged cut is a whirlwind of sound-- a thousand-times-stuttering vocal sample, handclaps that sound like marching feet, and plenty of menacing airraid bass-- that works as a perfect summation of the pair's spare-yet-gigantic futuristic hip-hop style. Flying Lotus dropped the track during this weekend's Pitchfork Music Festival, and although most of the crowd assuredly hadn't heard it yet, they went nuts regardless.
