"purplehands" was a cut featured on understated singer/producer Kwes' debut LP for Warp, last year's ilp., and now it's received a remix from Hot Chip's own Joe Goddard. Goddard's been known for extending the bold melodic tendencies of his main act in his solo productions, but he takes a more subtle approach here, adding a squishy thump to Kwes' subtle vocals as well as a few synth flourishes that keep things tropical.
