When the Australian electronic duo Gardland released their debut album, Syndrome Syndrome, last year on RVNG, our review noted that the music concocted by Alex Murray and Mark Smith conceived of "techno as a head trip rather than something to dance to." For their latest track, taken from the Improvisations EP out April 29,Murray and Smith present a visceral, electrified maze of a track, full of acid gushes and beats like slamming gates, reaching a fine roaring peak four minutes in.
