In its original form, singer/producer Gent Mason's "Head" was a slow-moving, contemplative single, with Clams Casino-esque moans adding a propulsive oomph amidst the placid instrumental and GM's soulful vocal take. Leave it to UK producer Fort Romeau, then, to flip the song on its head, opening a figurative window and using the song's raw materials to create a glittery, six-minute house jam that befits FR's usual style. Gent Mason's debut EP, Eden, drops October 7 via Aesop.
