When I spoke with Toro Y Moi's Chaz Bundick late last year, in anticipation of this year's LP from the constantly mutating electro-pop project, Anything in Return, he mentioned that more material from his more dance-oriented Les Sins project. Sure enough, here's a new single that sees release on March 18 via Caribou frontman Dan Snaith's Jiaolong imprint. "Grind" is more of a straightforward house track with a warped vocal sitting in the center of it, whereas "Prelims" borrows UK bass' stuttering, deep rhythmic tics, along with some out-there sounds that wouldn't have sounded foreign on Snaith's LP as Daphni, last year's Jiaolong.
