Serpentine Path is a new death/doom band featuring all three guys from sludgy veteran New York doom trio Unearthly Trance plus Tim Bagshaw, the founding bassist/guitarist of vintage UK doom rockers Electric Wizard and the dronier, weirder Ramesses. "Crotalus Horridus Horridus", a song named after the scientific term for a timber rattlesnake, is the second track on the quartet's cavernous, bowel-shaking self-titled debut, out September 11 on Relapse.
