rm’s second album as the leader of bts, blending alternative hip-hop, indie rock, r&b, and pop

really love the instrumentals on this. domodachi feels a little out of place, almost like it’s trying to be harsh just for the sake of being harsh, but then you get heaven, lost!, and come back to me, which are incredible. the lyrics can feel repetitive with the relationship problems, friend issues, and feeling disconnected, but that’s kind of the point. overall, a great step outside the k-pop narrative and a genuinely great album from an amazing writer, producer, and rapper.
