Dreamy French "post-black metal" romantics Alcest's third LP, Les Voyages de l'Âme (The Journeys of the Soul), is out January 31 in North America via Prophecy. As the video for the collection's opener "Autre Temps" suggested, the record finds the project's multi-instrumental mastermind Neige digging deeper into sunny, airy shoegaze pop, though his grim side does surface. "Faiseurs De Mondes" is the best example of the bright/dark fusion.
