Refreshing

This album is just a breathe of fresh air. I’m not really a fan of jazz, but this album really opened my eyes to the political this genre can behold to me. This album reminds me of a cold winter day, walking downtown, side by side arm around your girl, watching the snow fall, etc. such freaking album. I would probably rate this higher once my palette acclimates to the genre. Coltrane’s voice is just so heavenly throughout. It’s such a soft and noting presence throughout the album. Really one of a kind, and the trumpets that rip through the tracks just are amazing to hear (for a lack of better words). Really amazing body of work right here.
